Description
The Sleipner ANL Fuse 400 A Slow Blow is a high‑capacity bolt-on fuse designed for demanding marine thruster systems, such as Sleipner SE80 (12 V) and SE150/170 (24 V). Rated at 400 amps, its slow-blow design can handle very large inrush currents when thruster motors start, without blowing immediately, while still protecting against prolonged overloads. It is made for rugged marine environments and must be installed in a compatible ANL fuse holder, positioned close to the battery to minimize voltage drop and heating. According to Sleipner’s installation guidance, slow‑blow fuses are required to hold the thruster’s nominal current for a minimum of 5 minutes.
