The Victron Orion XS 1400 DC-DC Battery Charger is a high-performance, smart charger and DC-DC converter designed for dual-battery systems in vehicles, boats, and off-grid installations. Compact and fanless, it delivers up to 98.5% efficiency, ensuring reliable power transfer while remaining quiet and cool, even in confined spaces.
Featuring an adaptive four-stage charge algorithm, the Orion XS 1400 automatically adjusts to different battery chemistries including lithium, AGM, gel, and flooded lead-acid. It optimizes charging for battery longevity and performance, and can also function as a stable DC power supply with adjustable output voltage.
The unit is IP65-rated, providing protection against dust and water, and includes safeguards against overload, short circuit, over-temperature, and undervoltage. It’s fully compatible with smart alternators, operating only when the engine is running, protecting both the alternator and batteries.
With Bluetooth Smart, the VictronConnect app, and VE.Direct integration, the Orion XS 1400 allows simple configuration, real-time monitoring, and seamless integration into a Victron GX system for remote diagnostics and system management.
